Time
Sometimes it seems like she slips away,
runs through our fingers like sand that we try to hold too tightly.
The very thought of her let’s us freeze and we find ourselves sitting in front of the mirror of fear, staring into her face, immobilized. We sit and watch her hands moving relentlessly, knitting the web of despair and lack. She seems to grip us hard and we try to move. Her web only tightens as we uncomfortably move, trying to reach for more of her, only creating less although we often have enough of her. There is nothing else leaving us in such a paradox than time. We want to let go of her and hold on simultaneously.
How would our days look like if we were just flowing with the course of nature?
Is time maybe natural, as dawn and dusk seem to flow in an always recurring pattern?
How can we lose time if we don’t have it?
Time, lack and impatience are the trinity of fear. If we didn’t have the sword of time floating above our heads, showing us the mortality of humanness every day in the mirror, would it be easier to be present? Would we be able to trust more that everything will work out for us? I realize when I am in flow, anchored in my source, dancing in the arms of love, I don’t feel impatient and scarcity doesn’t even appear to be real. I don’t feel the need to control, I don’t need to plan or plot when I am following my internal divine guidance. Yet, we are living in a human world and when those two worlds collide time often seems to be “of essence”, a funny way to say that something needs to be done quickly, as our essence is truly timeless. Time often seems to be a construct to help us feel safer.
In meditation we are letting go of time and space, we are diving deep into the nothingness of the universe, floating in eternity. Minutes feel like hours here and we come out of it completely altered. The present moment is the magical hour in which we truly exist. The future and past are just created by the concept of time. Without putting a name on it, would it even be there? We are never afraid in the present moment. Only when our minds drift to the distant shores of the future, we feel our compass spinning, eager to control wherever life wants to take us.
How often do we feel controlled by time?
How often do we let her control us?
How often do we use her to control the circumstance?
Time reversed is “emit”, so let’s reverse time and emit our being into the world. It’s time to let go.

Time
How would you spend it
if you hadn’t bought it
if you couldn’t define it
if you never had fought it
if you wouldn’t use numbers
to count and divide it
Would you still have it chained
To your wrist
The hands no longer
The language
The digits
Just meaningless
How would you spend it
If you opened your eyes
without the lingering list
Would you plan it
Or just improvise
Would you follow the sun
would you howl with the moon
would you dance with your dreams
would you let them bleed
never too late or too soon
How would you spend it
If time was art
Created in the moments
Of aliveness
That you become
if she had no ending
no start
How would you spend it
If time was a lie
and through all your life
it was for you
to decide?

Are you spontaneous?
A Harvard Study has shown that people who run late tend to live happier and love longer. I am always running late — living in Germany that sometimes brought me a lot of stress. Yet, I am learning to find a balance between my commitments and my own understanding of time. Time is a funny concept, especially when you look at it from a spiritual perspective. How does it all connect? Some people say that all our lifetimes are existing simultaneously, this is a mind-blowing thought. I am really excited to talk about your ideas and concepts of time, regarding the human world as well as regarding the soul world. Let’s take some time for ourselves and have a chat over a cup of coffee!
This is an invitation to join The Love Café — Soul Session on July 26th, 4 pm CET to talk about the collective effervescence of our experiences, to create a community of connection, to support, encourage, inspire and nurture spiritual growth and creative flow as well as pondering about the concept of time.
As old souls, spiritual mentors, practitioners and magic makers, we are on a mission of spreading love.
Our purpose is to serve our highest self and support the higher self in others to ignite, encourage, empower and to inspire us to discover our own unique gift by which each of us best can serve the world. Yet, as we embark on our mission we often forget to fill our own cup. Let’s keep the flame of passion burning through these soulful conversations.
I am passionate about making the world a kinder, more loving place. For me, non-judgment is the most important value that I carry. I am a listener, an igniter, and a curious creative spiritual alchemist. I’d like to share the knowledge that I gained through deep dives into my own soul and like to provide a space for us where our journeys can cross paths. I believe that nobody is broken and that everybody is naturally resourceful, creative and whole.
This free virtual event is intended to be a safe, kind and respectful space. Thus I am committed to keeping one’s privacy. I will never share pictures, snippets of videos or your words without permission.
Reserve your seat for the session! This link will take you to the site where you can sign up, or, if you rather plan your time, sign up for later sessions.
I am looking forward to seeing you there!
